Nestled

I had heard that placing human hair in your garden can deter critters from bothering your plants. So I asked my hairdresser for a bag of hair to give it a try and it seemed to work with the rabbits.

To my surprise one day, I found a small nest with strands of hair woven into it. I think this is a hummingbird's nest into which I placed an abandoned robin's egg for the photo.
