A very wet flag iris.

Photo Information
So, it's been raining a lot - make use of it. This was taken by a K1 with a 1922-23 f6.3, 110mm Aldis Uno that I have converted to M42 mount. It is a magnificent performer that will compete with most modern offerings.

Nice.
Quality lens alright. Goes to show that info about that 'old' lenses aren't too good on modern digital can be misleading.

They certainly knew what they were doing in those times gone bye.
i love your passion Davidwozhere, for resurrecting gems of the past and appreciate that you share them.
The photos you have shown for some considerable time now, are a testement to the great optical designers from different eras. they are always appreciated, as is your ability to extract the best from them.

I'm pleased that you all like it and that I can demonstrate the continued utility of 'old glass'. The main problem with accumulating it is the opportunity to use it all!
Thank you for your (very) kind comments.
Both the *istDS and the K5 are incurably addicted to old glass
