Spring Splash

Photo Information
Out in the park again this morning - spotted this rather lovely splash of colour on an otherwise pretty grey morning. Does anyone know what plant this is?? Taken with the DA* 300mm

Miniature Iris Mat, in a Park it will be the wild variety. I think its 'Iris Reticulata' - or 'Harmony'

Wasn't too sure, but felt it may have been some iris. Thanks Paul for the identification. I quite enjoy this picture, reminds me that Spring and Summer can't be that far off!!

The focus and DoF is superb. Looking forward to seeing more.

I gladly welcome C & C's. Being foggy minded they really help me learn.

Thanks Shane and John - Shane, having seen your shot, I don't think I'll leave the house again without a piece of white card!

Beautiful. I see the point behind using a white card, but prefer this flower shape-wise. It's a perfect flower and pretty symmetrical - so for my taste it might look too perfect to be true on a white background.
