The pattern on the door seems to the 'Life-Tree' motive. That was a very important symbol of the Hungarians in pre-Christian times. That connects the umbilicus of the Earth with the umbilicus of the sky (Pole-Star). The tree represents the life, death, growing and the continouos reformation.

I thought the same ,well about the tree I like your use of the light to almost seperate the two main textures going on here put simply it works
