Stormy Blue Hour

Photo Information
A four metre plus swell at high tide coincided with a fierce wind and a new moon to give fantastic stormy conditions at Porthleven, Cornwall, during the blue hour yesterday. This is a composite of several different shots of the breaking waves, all at about 1/10 to 1/2 second exposures, and a single shot of the town. The building looks like a church but is the Bickford-Smith Institute built in 1884 by William Bickford-Smith who was the MP for Truro and owner of a safety fuse making company of the same name.

I do like the commentary on subject and methods, and, of course, the image itself, You have the impression the land is going to be swallowed up by the raging sea. Bravo!

What a wonderful shot !, obviously every effort was taken to show nature at it`s wildest, good title for the picture, and the author took the time and trouble to add some details regarding the location and local information.
