Spring in Berkshire

by PeterKR

The hedgerows have finally sprung to life. This was taken yesterday on a lane down to The Thames.
This is the camera JPEG. The only PP was to reduce in size for posting.
Taken on the K-r with the Sigma 18-250mm
I had to wait quite a while for the branch to stop moving in the breeze, and fortunately the K-r selected 1/500s !

I like the balance and the background.

Feels like Spring.

Good to see you back in action Peter! That's a lovely spring image and I like the blue coming through in the background. Looks like that Sigma is working well for you

Many thanks to you all for the kind comments.

I've not been out with the camera during the poor weather so the sunshine yesterday was a MUST ! I was fortunate that there was also plenty of blue sky since when taking trees I always try to get a PoV which give me the blue background to show off leaves or blossom. Sometimes you need to be a bit 'acrobatic' but luckily that wasn't necessary yesterday !

Thanks again
Peter
