Nuri, it's location is 30 kms away from Konya towards the southwest. It's the overflown part of the Altinapa Reservoir on the right hand side of the highway leading to Beyşehir, which is one of the three major lakes of the Turkish Lake District.
The darkness in the middle is caused by the difference of the amount of light on the hill behind. I tried to lighten it up, but could not achieve it more than this, as I am not using ps, but only Picasa. The increase of light would overflood the sky and the hill with excessive light.
Andrew, I would give it to you free, plus a tenner, if you made that offer yesterday when I was struggling in distress to sole the AF problem with the DA 50-200 lens.
