Like the way you have isolated the pier, the soft sea and moody sky makes for a great image. One of the best I have seen of the pier. Well seen and taken.

Yes, we were lucky with the conditions. Ignored the 5am alarm this morning as I was pleased with last night's colours. A nice pint of Laine's too. Job done for my probable farewell to the UK's finest sculpture.

Hi Adrian - I didn't bother getting up again either as looked rather overcast anyway. However was down near the other pier for the 'murmuring' this evening. Came across some other nice beer; the Kemptown brewery served at the Hand-in-Hand - very nice!
