Tyger Tyger, burning bright...

Not the one that we are most familiar with, but a day-flying Wood Tiger Moth (Parasemia plantaginis). Photographed on a chalk-grassland reserve just outside Aldbourne, Wilts.

I haven't seen one of these since I was a child (a long long time ago). Very nice capture.
Both the *istDS and the K5 are incurably addicted to old glass
