The steam on the mainline season is now up and running for 2011 and I'm still waiting for the first one to appear in the North East. This is a good example John. BTW don't black fives look good in colour?

I'm sure steam will find it's way up there soon David, I'm busy planning the rest of the years shoots

Yes, I've been to the Great Central a couple of times and there's plenty to see. I got some half decent shots there last summer. Half way down the line there's a station with a little cafe which is handy.
Its doable for me in a day providing I get an early start.
