Bittern

by davidtrout

The A4 Class steam loco Bittern moving from the National Railway Museum to York Station to take over a high speed run to London Kings Cross. Crowds of photographers were there for the event and I met PUF member Pete Weber for the first time.

Class is right!

Designed way ahead of her time.

Glad you managed to take her alone without the crush of bystanders.

I like your viewpoint here David, giving her a compressed, powerful appearance. Delightful to see the smooth bodywork and beautiful curves.
