Great Crested Grebe

Shot from a boat on the River Ant, Norfolk, this was one of a pair of Great Crested Grebes which surfaced with a fish.

K10D, DA*300mm @ f/4.5, 1/750s, ISO200. Handheld, SR activated, AF-C mode.

Wicked shot Daniel, know the area. Wildlife on Barton Broad is amazing. Seen several Otters, just not brave enough to take a K out in my Kayak. The detail in this grebe is outstanding, what a lens the DA 300 is.

Hope to go back to the same area in April next year, revisit the Broads and see the seals at Horsey Beach again.
