Bamford Edge

by sandinista

My first venture out today with my new Sigma 10-20mm 1:4-5.6 DC lens. Quite pleased with result of this view from Bamford Edge looking over Ladybower Reservoir in Derbyshire

Superb clarity Jim, I think this has more detail than the ones taken with the 16-45, but the colours are slightly cooler.

How on earth were you in the sun Jim when I was at Longshaw in the misty gloom! Great shot as ever

Wonderful engaging lead-in to this grand view of the Dark Peak area. The dynamic sky adds well to this fine photograph

I've been umming and ahing about saving up for one of these lenses, Jim, but I think I'd find it hard to use. This great shot has made me think again!
Best wishes,

Andrew
