Dreamy Sunrise

by GlynM

I shot this bridge from both sides just after dawn on a frosty April morning and got two completely different images.

You can see the other side of the bridge in the weekly competition #470 - "On The Edge" here.

This is Eelmoor Flash on the Basingstoke Canal.

Eelmooor Flash is situated close to the end of the runway at Farnborough and the surrounding area is used by the army. The Flash is reputed to have been used by Samuel Cody for testing his early aircraft.

The bridge is a WW1 period, army owned, replacement for the original brick bridge.

Oh, that's the other side of the competition entry. Lovely and much more foggy, hence the 'dreamy land in the distance' when looking from the other side! Thanks for sharing

That was an early start! Worth it though!
