Owl and Shrew

by petrochemist

On my third occasion of shooting this local barn owl, I finally managed to get a reasonably close shot, and found a bonus in it's talons!

Very nice situation, nice compo and nice owl decreasing harmful rodents.

I've also noticed that K-5 II works well even at ISO 1600 when I need rapid exposure times.

Greetings from Finland by Jokke

PS: As a matter of fact shrews are not rodents, but I believe that owls mostly catch rodents.

Wonderful surprise. Congratulations
Both the *istDS and the K5 are incurably addicted to old glass
