Broken Bough

Near the top of the Derbyshire Moors, this tree bears witness to the fierce winds that sweep this area more often than not. The branch seemed to point towards the path and the gateway perhaps guiding hikers to a more sheltered spot?

Very good sharp image, David! As Nuri says, it is best viewed large. What I like most is, in your own words,the way "The branch point(s) towards the path and the gateway" where the hikers are.
