This photo was made during a rest from bouldering (free-climbing) on the plethora of fine granite climbs there. It is one of my most frequent ‘go to’ places up there for climbing and photography. https://www.philhemsley.co.uk/

Very nicely put together... I rather like the bright exposure... lends the photograph a real sense of optimism...

The white lichens and the quartz crystals in the granite made for a tricky exposure, but the Histogram was just touching the right hand side with no clipping

The ferns seemed to give a nice journey through the rock formations and their organic textures and form seemed to contrast interestingly with the defined edges of the rocks https://www.philhemsley.co.uk/
