'Avian grey squirrel'

by PeterKR

Some time ago Canada geese were considered an endangered breed and a conservation effort was carried out by the Severn Wildfowl Trust.
Now they seem to be one of the most common waterfowl around, certainly in the Thames Valley. What is more their voracious appetites poses a potential threat to the native species of waterfowl ? c'est la vie ?

This shot is another from my first outing with my new K50 +DA18-135WR. This is a crop showing around 1/4 of the original image. Since I was shooting into the sun the nearside of the goose was in the shade so I've used PSE11/Adobe RAW to adjust the RAW image as best I could.
