Eternity in each moment...

“You must live in the present, launch yourself on every wave, find your eternity in each moment. Fools stand on their island of opportunities and look toward another land. There is no other land; there is no other life but this.”
― Henry David Thoreau

Flowing, running, ethereal, calming, spiritual, brilliance. Wonderful take.

Thought it was one of yours Phil! Its a great capture - these are very difficult to get. I have taken hundreds trying to anticipate position, height, speed of wave - and in consequence deleted many!
Nice work

Never managed to crack these yet - great shot!

Have you got a b&w high contrasty version? - I reckon that would be interesting as well.

Thank you very much for your generous and descriptive comments It was most hypnotic observing the subtle variations of order and chaos of the resurgent crests

Thanks very much indeed Andy It took four goes to get this, there was a surprising rythym to the subtle variations of the crest formations, yet at times they would extend too far to the right. I did feel rather lucky to have only had four attempts before getting one I was happy with... I can see it could easily involve 'umpteen' exposures

Thank you very much I have tried it in B & W, but felt it lost something of it's mood/ atmosphere. The subtle variations of muted colour tones seemed to add something in comparison to monotone
