Tuscany Trees 2

by swarf

Taken from about 10m to the right from the previous image (posted yesterday). I've retained the mid-image horizon, because I love the structure in the clouds.

Both are very nice images - I prefer this one though!

This is in a different league to the last one. A first rate landscape, beautifully composed. It would actually make a very fine mono photograph as well.
Best wishes,

Andrew

This the 'right' one for me too, a much better angle, less cluttered and more 'pure'

Thanks for the nice comments;

and a BIG "thank you" to Guilio because I would have never found the spot without his guidance.

Beautiful image, my favourite out of the two.

There are a couple of serious problems with trying to take landscape shots in this part of Tuscany.

Firstly, there are so many simply STUNNING landscapes to absorb that I hardly knew which way to look (even with Guilio's guidance). Secondly, so many much better photographers have been there before you, that your own results somehow always look a little 'derivative'.

However, I will definitely got back, and if you love landscapes and haven't been - GO, because if you're an enthusiast your own image is always that extra bit special to you.
