Rusted pipe from left to right pushes eyes to read the whole compo. Good use of this guiding line(s). Tones are natural...and birds give life to your work....Do you have piccies of promenade in Atlantic City?? Lot of peoples and colours...it should be another good subject

I do like this, great rust and algae covered thingy? ( i presume it's a wave breaker) and the Seagulls get in everywhere but that's where they belong!

Maria, what the seagulls are resting on is one of many stormwater drainage/runoff pipes. They have been dotting the Jersey Shore beach as long as I can remember. Recent news reports in Atlantic City say that they are working on replacing the eight above ground pipes with 2 underground pipes. Probably will be less of an eyesoar for the community, but alas, another great visual loss for
artists.....and needless to say, a loss to the gulls who retreat there as well.
Cheers...Donna 😊

Vivid and the narrative is spot on - Few realize that these pipes often extend very little into the ocean. Runoffs can produce memorable odors esp at low tide - To think, as a kid, I used to happily swim near similar pipes !! Yikes.

Seagulls always know where to find a good meal !
Donna clearly knows where to find a good photo too.

Thnx everyone...I can feel the love! 😍

Giulio-I will have to check my photo stash and see if I have any boardwalk photos. Since I live in Illinois now, I don't have the opportunity of going to the Jersey Shore beaches as when I lived there. Will definately take some pics of the boardwalk and people next time I go. 😎

Larry-clever little arrow ^ !😉

Maria-your use of the word"thingy"...well it's my kind of
word!😃

Tony-you use such creative concepts to deliver your critiques. They are like words that paint a thousand images!
And yes,we swam near those pipes, too. Funny thing is that when we got close to the shore and smelled low tide we got so excited because we knew fun was about to begin. 😝

And David you always make me chuckle!😄
Cheers...Donna 😊

This would give Carl (fritzthedog) palpitations! Works well with the resident birdlife!
