A nice shot but I'd have to crop out the half signs on the right.

France is the country par excellence of signs of all kinds. Have to keep the bits to balance the walls.

Me too. But you could have cloned rather than cropped the street signs and kept the balance.
However its a lovely atmospheric shot of a rural village. The receding figure and the wet reflections on the road make it for me.

Lovely atmosphere to this, I don't mind the signs but I can see why others have suggested the shot would be better without them.
