Just East Of Cape Town

Photo Information
A silly subject to tone-map perhaps but it has put some life into the sky, at the expense of the over-cooked area on the water. However, the sun was pretty fierce at the time.

I like it Paul, regadless of the burned out area in the sea. It has atmosphere and vitality.

Fantastic shot and good processing. Just my taste in landscapes. Composition is excellent. The eye gets drawn from the foreground boulder, along the shoreline to the distant hills and finally to the mast at the edge of the frame.

This one looks and feels so different, Paul. Must be an amazing place.
Best wishes,

Andrew

We were on the way back to Cape Town, after whale watching at Hermanus, when this scene suddenly presented itself along with roadside parking! I had to bracket anyway so I tried putting the five hand-held shots together, which turned out quite nicely.
As last year we just spent our time in the Cape Town area as there is more than enough to keep a family occupied. Last year we were exploring, this year we fell in love with the area!

Love the dramatic atmosphere and the sunlight seems to be bouncing off the rocks.
Kind regards Maria

Really nice capture Paul. I do like it and the burnt out area isn't distracting for me.
