Ugly

Photo Information
I took my son to the Yorkshire Air Museum the other day (half term, you know). Can't remember what this plane was called but it was one of the ugliest planes I have ever seen!
The day was really dull resulting in quite uninspiring images so I have tweaked it a bit in Topaz Adjust - do you think it's a bit OTT?

It's a Handley Page Victor, one of the 'V'-bombers of the Fifties. The other types were the Vickers Valiant and the Avro Vulcan, which was probably the best looking of the three and is the only one still flying (officially).

It doesn't look too over the top to me, given the condidtions.

Best,
Myles

It is a venerable HP Victor K2, a convert from the Victor B2 bomber and was use for Air to Air refuelling of the RAF's Air defence fleet.

This is one of the V Bombers from the cold war it is a Victor...there were also Valiants and the famous Vulcan all Nuclear carrying aircraft l remember these at Malta at the time of Suez as a school kid it may look ugly to you but it would have annihilated anything in its path at the time ..

A very dramatic image.
Best wishes,

Thanks all for your comments. I do appreciate your interest in the plane.
Pixelshot - I never said anything about the plane's performance, just that it looks ugly to me.
Andrew, thanks for you comment about the photograph.
Cheers.
