Glass Corpuscles

by GlynM

A photo taken, but not submitted, for the Abstract competition because I chose to submit a different shot.

A close-up of the bubbles in a glass paperweight illuminated in red light.

A good abstract, excellent reflections, you'll never know, it may have won, what did you submit as its replacement, could we see?

It is here in the competition part of the gallery: Vulptuous-Abstract-in-Stainless-Steel

It took a while to choose which shot to submit. In the end I felt that I needed to submit something a little more formal than the random nature of the glass corpuscles.

Many thanks for your comments.

I think you made the right decision in your choice of entry Glyn. Personally I prefer the stainless steel shot to the paperweight picture.

And I can assure you that this was the right decision, as I like your actual entry better. It is an interesting shot in it's own right, though, and certainly is an abstract. It reminds me of the shower gel series that I have done a while ago (see this thread)
