Britannia Pacific 70013 Oliver Cromwell rounds the curve at Winwick Jct, it is about to pass the former site of the Vulcan Locomotive works at Newton Le Willows.

PS Oliver Cromwell's got to be a he not a she. I can't think of any loco as a she, like you can a ship.

They also have to be obeyed, driven to the shopping centres, kidded that their hair's really very nice, and have the washing up done for them. I couldn't do that for a Tornado or a Mallard.

Nice shot Cliff, I was looking out for your's and David's offerings.
Looks like she (Oliver, she?) is 'Forging Ahead' from the exhaust.
Was that on the main line or did it do a detour through Earlestown to allow the fast traffic to pass?
