M45 Pleiades (Seven Sisters) Star Cluster (REPROCESSED)


Photo Information
The stars of the pleiades star cluster in the constellation of Taurus at around 410 light years away. The light from the stars becomes polarised into streaks caused by the dust particles that surrounds the cluster.

Pentax 800mm 67 EDIF lens & adapter @f8
Equatorial drive tracking at siderial rate, unguided
4 x 5min subs (Quick & dirty - no dark frames - no flat fields - no bias frames)

Processed in 'Deep Sky Stacker' & Photoshop CS5
