Ceramic and Glass

This example is in Birmingham but similar 'ultra modern' buildings are springing up all over. I realised that their 'modernity' is beginning to resemble the 1920s-30s modernity of Art Deco.

See what you mean about the similarity to Art Deco. But its still very late 20th/early 21st century in style. Good clean lines and crisp colour.

Makes for a strong abstract. Symmetrical patterns and flat field seem to knit all the buildings into one. Like.
