Damselfly - ID please?

Photo Information
We have a lot of Damselflies in our garden, mostly bright blue ones, but I spotted something different today that had green eyes and some pink / red colouring. I have not been able to identify this one, any help anyone can give would be appreciated.

K-5IIs, Sigma 105mm DG EX Macro, Extension Tubes

PS it had a blue tail spot, on the second to last tail segment

Hello David,

A female 'Blue Tailed Damselfly'.... I think!...

What you need are lenses, more lenses, bigger lenses, better lenses, faster lenses, vintage lenses and when you have these, your pictures will be perfect!

Thanks Defragged, I think you are right. If so, this is the first time I have seen this species in my garden, the rest seem to be Azure Damselflies.

Nice shot David, and well spotted, if you Google Blue-tailed Damselfly it states that they are scarce and that there are five different colour phases to the female.

Lucky you to have them in your garden.
