AirBus A400M at Farnborough 2010

A newcomer to Farnborough this year is the Airbus A400M. This is competing with the Hercules C130J, also here at Farnborough, for the military transport market.
I liked this shot because I think it shows off the propellers.

I don't think there was enough humidity to create vortices. The F-22 Raptor was unable to create vortices unlike its display in 2008, which was a little disapointing. I guess you can't have everything. It was otherwise a very nice day for shooting an air display.
There seemed to be a competition between the A400M and the C130J as to who could achieve the steepest bank. It was said the A400M could do 160 degrees but I think the C130J won as you can see in my shot here
.....but perhaps not as the A400M did a loop! See here.
