Comet C2011 L4 PANSTARRS swings round the Sun near orbit of planet Mercury passing from southern hemisphere skies into northern hemisphere evening skies visible for a time after sunset until end of March 2013....not due back for 110,000 years.

Nice shot!
I was hoping to capture it a few days ago but the cloud cover was to high above the horizon. Got a few shots of the moon though
Lets hope for some more clear skies in the next week or so

Don't worry Paul...should be visible for a few nights yet, very low in west right after sunset as soon as sky gets dark enough to glimpse first few stars breaking twilight...just look above the point where the Sun set with a pair of binoculars.
