Reflecting

Normally I would just say I like it or some such - but as you yourself said - this one is worth an opinion......
I love the image of Meghann and can ignore the reflection which for me doesn't work.
Her expression is 'perfect' and you have captured it beautifully.
Without the reflection - to me - it is a beautiful wistful image and the reflection adds nothing other than distraction - a case of less is more. I would clone out the reflection.
I am 100% certain others will disagree with me - which is just as it should be - if you have done a good job with the image - we should all see something different

A lovely study with the faint reflection. Had she simply parted her lips it would have been perfect, Maria.
Thank you Andrew, i agree with you about the lips.
Kind regards Maria

Hi Carl, the background was a mass of christmas paraphernalia, i cloned them out as best i could but i couldn't get as close to the face as i wanted without it impinging on the face, so i thought if i cloned her back in and made it look like a reflection it would cover a multitude of sins, i might have another go and see how i fair.
Kind regards Maria

Oh I see - that makes perfect sense - not easy cloning out tons of clutter and understand what you did - shows what a good job you did as I thought was a real reflection!
I hope you don't mind but I had an idea that I thought might work. I haven't actually cloned out the reflection - I have just quickly 'removed it' with some massive selective under exposing in LR3 - not perfect by a long way - with more care and time it could work

Thank you for taking the time Carl, that's exactly what i did originally, you can see what i mean now about cloning right up to the face, so i think i'll go down a different route and have another try, thank you again.

John's Law: If it isn't broke, it bloody soon will be.
Lovely soft portrait, Maria. She's so beautiful and those nice lights make her more beautiful. But the reflection is distracting a bit for my taste. Maybe if it would be darker by 1-2 EV...

I like it, it is magical I didnt see the reflection at the first glance. The focus on her eye is great beautiful eyelashes
Thank you so much Gabor and John, a late thank you i know.
Kind regards Maria
