All the best

Great angle and perspective Maria, it's only the burn-out at the front that takes the edge off this one. It's always very tricky with such a wide dynamic range, maybe next time expose it a bit less and use the 'dodge' tool to bring out the shadow detail?

Thank you David, is the dodge tool in photo shop, i do have ps but i've not learned how to use it yet.
Kind regards Maria

Not sure about photoshop, but there is a dodge tool within the pentax silkypix software supplied with the camera (it's on the 'Exposure' tab). I use this quite a lot and you can affect the shadow detail in a very subtle way.

If this was shot in RAW then there would probably enough "headroom" to recover most of the detail in the burnt highlights.
Best wishes,
Andrew
