Growing up

Photo Information
My thinking behind this, is of a young girl who disassociates herself from the Christmas tree as she no longer wishes to be looked on as a child.

This photo really works because it has an association with a story. The viewer can make their own story from the elements that you have provided.
A really nice piece of work.

This is beautiful!

When I first viewed it without looking too close it made me think of a young girl dreaming of being a dancer.

I think she has a rather enigmatic look on her face. I think this is a shot that can tell many different stories, or evoke many differing responses in the viewer, which is why it's a great capture Maria, the essence of photogrphy

your explanation sounds quite plausible, .. Maria, .. anyway she seems to be quite away from de context, .. subtile shot

Beautiful!
I like it a lot, Maria!
Lovely compo and "vintage" tones... Her expression really fits on your explanation

Very beautiful story telling picture Maria. If it were not for the description, we would all weaved our own stories depending on how we are wired. well executed. That lil lady does indeed have an enigmatic smile. Lovely lighting as well..
