Love his little cute expression and the lighting maybe a tad over sharpened but still a lovely shot.

Lovely portrait and how well you've caught his expression. You might have let the high-lights get away from you a bit.

I think I had used Picasa to sharpen this, and then used Gimp. I'll have to dig out the original, and start from scratch with Gimp.

The sharpening options on Gimp are huge (I downloaded a load of plugins and scripts). I think the wavelet sharpening worked better on most i tried, but on this I used the Unsharp mask.
