This is one of my first K-5 shots, taken on an outing today. It has had no PP except for the tiniest amount of sharpening - no levels or colour adjustment. Also, no filters were used, other than the Skylight.

I think it speaks volumes for the quality of the K-5, notwithstanding my composition which of course the camera has no control over!

K-5, DA 16-45 F4 ED AL, Tripod.

PS forgot to say it has also had a slight crop.

Good luck with it, hope you got a solid one, (my lens release button decided it did not like being on the camera a mere 4 weeks after purchase all fixed now though)

Nice shot David, like the way the fence leads to the tree and frames the bottom of it.

I'm waiting for my k5 to come back from Sigma with the 100-300 lens, as good as the k7 is I do miss the high ISO caperbility of the k5.

Thanks Maria! I haven't used it a lot yet, but although the IQ is better than my K-x (more colour depth, greater detail), I wouldn't say it is streets ahead. If anything this just shows how good the K-x is and I definitely will not be selling mine!

I think the photographer is more important than the camera in most shooting situations!

Best wishes
