Chalk Meadow with Orchid

by prsjnb

Taken lying flat on my back in the midst of the meadow in an attempt, probably doomed from the outset, to convey some sense of the moment and my joy and wonderment in being there alone. Well, I say alone, but, as I was to discover on my return home, a blood-sucking tick had taken the opportunity to hitch a ride on the inside of my right leg just below the knee. I won't trouble you with the gory details of how I dealt with the little bugger!

Tall format compliments the subjects.

Not to frighten you, but please beware Lyme disease. Just read a long newspaper article proclaiming a burgeoning and widespread Lyme outbreak.
