Sanquhar Church

by johnriley

Shot from high on the hill, where Clark's Little Ark animal sanctuary lies quietly undisturbed, we are looking down on Sanquhar in Dumfries and Galloway. We've just has a week staying in the area, and the Scottish October weather was warm and sunny. Who knew that could happen? Oh, and not a midge in sight!

You make it look very inviting.

Fantastic point of view, fabulous autumn colours. Looks like you picked just the right time, lovely weather, no midges and fantastic scenery to photograph. Umm no midges maybe that's why your image is sharper than mine usually are!!!

I like all those gravestones standing to attention!
