Raindrops Keep Fallin' on My Head
by prsjnb
A spur of the moment whimsey submitted in response to the call for entries for the current weekly photography competition entitled "Rain".
The reproductive parts of hollyhock flower covered in droplets of rain were snipped-off (ouch!) in-situ before the flower itself was carefully removed and placed on the head of the figure, which was then photographed hand-held (K3 with IRIX Dragonfly 150mm f/2.8 Macro) against the foam sheet background in natural light whilst the rain continued.
