Pussy willow catkins

by davidwozhere

This tree is the only one of its kind along the local brook and it always produces these wonderful, hairy catkins - that will look even more splendid when the bright yellow flowers emerge. I knew there would be a hard frost last night so I took this shot as a contrast to how it will look tomorrow. .... which fulfilled its promise as the frost thawed and left the catkins plastered with tiny water droplets. I still have to process those images, which will appear in due course.
K1 with my favourite Trioplan 105 with added close-up tubes.

Getting mixed up here - I had two cameras going that day and this one had the Takumar 135/2.5 on it, not the Trioplan!
Both the *istDS and the K5 are incurably addicted to old glass
