Nice carnaval shot but I'm not sure about the letterbox cropping. Presumably you wanted to show us the spectators on the right but are they a distraction? I'd be inclined to crop off the right - that will put the face on the 1/3rd and give it a lot more emphasis. It's a personal opinion and many may not agree.

Nobody has mentioned the engagement of eyes with the camera - that's what makes the shot
