Hmm... wondered why my colours didn't look as good once I'd uploaded the image - had PS set to Abobe RGB - Oh well, live and learn!

Good composition. If you want to improve the colours you could try the following.

Make a layer in photoshop
Go to image, then Adjustments, Desaturate image
then image, Adjustments, Invert.
In you layers panel set the tab to overlay, click the opacity and slide the slider, you will notice the colours change, as a rough guide 20% is about right. now go to layers, and merge layers. Your image will now have more pop

This is just one aspect of increasing colours to get more punch out of an image, you could also try and tweak the contrast, and saturation, but be mindful of what you are changing. Layers are the key.
