Only a man.....

...could have a wardrobe like this !
This one, in Nuffield Place (NT), belonged to William Morris, Lord Nuffield, the founder of Morris Motors, MG etc.
He was the perennial 'engineer' and never stopped 'tinkering' (as my wife would say !)
This one especially for davidwozhere !

Very kind of you to think of me. I don't think I shall ever become famous, like him, because my workshop is a perennial tip.

This looks too tidy! The NT curators have been at it. I like the booze cache on the bottom shelf.

Many thanks for all the comments.
Don't worry about the state of the workshop, David, it is known as 'creativity' !
I'm sure that like me, with all the piles of books and papers in my 'office', you know exactly where everything is !!!
Thanks again
Peter

I think I will make two of these...
one for the camera gear...
and one for the workshop, to keep all the small items in one place...
and be able to shut the dust out from small fiddly jobs.
But, is the bottle of Bols important...
I'd find a place for some Bowmore!
Now to go hunting round antique shops...
modern wardrobes wouldn't cut the mustard....
FAR too flimsy!

the same camera, lens and scene...
and you'll always get a thousand different takes!!"
