Norwegian Church

by johnriley

Saw this in Cardiff a while ago and I really liked the building with its clean, precise lines.

Very well presented building but it's a bit hard on the eyes with those hard stripes!
Both the *istDS and the K5 are incurably addicted to old glass

I know that church!
A few facts about that church.
1. It didn't use to be there, it was around the corner, but it was moved when the Cardiff Bay regeneration process started.
2. Roald Dahl was baptised in it.
3. During WW2 it housed Norweigan sailors who couldn't go back to Nazi occupied Norway
4. It sits next to a Captain Scott sculpture, as this is where he set of in the Terra Nova boat which ended in tragedy.

Your shot of the church is nicer than mine!
