Nine Ladies Stone Circle

by davidstorm

This is a blended image from 3 separate exposures, to ensure detail is retained in both sky and ground. It's the Nine Ladies Stone Circle, on Stanton Moor in Derbyshire. It was made between 4,000 and 5,000 years ago, in the late Neolithic / early Bronze Age, presumably as a site for gatherings and ritual.
