Louisiana MoMA.

Louisiana MoMA.
Photo Information
Yep, I know! The settings are crazy! I'd been photographing within the galleries of the museum when I suddenly came across this girl on the steps of the old house that forms the basis of the museum. No time to make adjustments before raising the camera to my eye whilst hoping that she wouldn't move. She did move, but then returned to this position. For once fate was on my side! A couple of people on the lawn were removed by daughter Shari - she does it so much better than I do, then a crop and conversion to mono. In the end I have a photo that I'm extremely pleased with.
This was a return visit to the Louisiana; we were there last summer and probably only covered about half the galleries so this year we went all out to complete the job! The museum is a few kilometers outside Copenhagen and is well worth a visit when you're in the area.

Usually I would have tried to put the subject away from the window frame, but seeing this it puts a new perspective on it for me. I find the frame draws my eye into the girl's face - brilliant! Well done!

Many thanks for the feedback folks. The more I look at this photo the more pleased I am with it, something I rarely say about my own photos!
