oh - this is not a tarpaulin - the building simply stands out a bit and what you see is the face of the wall (better visible in the full resolution version of this photo but at least you can see a little window hole in the upper third of the wall)

Stunning shot - it's the prettiest part of Strasbourg which I think is the most beautiful city in France. I very much like the "pen and wash effect" and the soft lighting and colours.

This is a fine HDR study. I particularly like the great lights and colours.
