I think the street needs a mow, dear!

No Vehicular Access.... No cars allowed up this street.... it was created when the only transport was donkeys and packhorses.... possibly a donkey cart.
It leads to some troglodyte houses.... blocks of the local stone were quarried out of the low cliff and used to build a house in front of the quarry.... this means that the house is usually double the size that it appears to the naked eye.
The houses keep a constant 55°F and require little by way of heating or cooling.
Many are now "second homes".... cool when we have summer heatwaves... and no need to worry about any winter heat in ones' absence!
