Going for the next summit!

This kestrel fledged late the previous evening and made it to the gutter of our roof [the low one].... so I went out early to try and get a photo.... it spent quite a while hopping back and forth along our roof ridge, testing and exercising its wings.
Twice it got as far as the ridge by the barn.... then on the third attempt went for it and reached the apex of the barn roof... the highest solid object for 750mtrs!!
