No Room For Error
Very skilful flying by the pilot of this Squirrel helicopter at Halfpenny Green airfield on Bank Holiday Monday.
From my position it looked like the rotor blades were only a couple of meters or so from the tanker parked next to helipad 2.

Last time I visited Halfpenny Green was in 1966 in an ERCO Ercoupe, G-AKFC! Sadly that aircraft crashed and was written off there a few months later!
I wonder just how close the truck and chopper were? Anyway, makes an interesting shot!
